Why I haven't been blogging

Hello, faithful readers. My Uncle Ron in Hawai'i emailed Moms over the weekend to ask why I haven't been sharing my words of kat wisdom with you. Let me tell you, o readers, why: Archy's on strike. That's right. Archy said he won't type anything until he gets a state of the art computer that can read his mind, so it's up to Moms or Dads to translate my words to the blogged stage.

Moms and Dads have been gone a lot as of late. They were invited to seven weddings this fall, so they have been traveling around a lot to drink champagne and watch flowers being thrown. Here is a self-portrait of Moms and Dads at Auntie Amanda and Uncle Eric's black-tie wedding in Central Park's Boathouse this weekend.

I keep asking them to bring me a souvenier "So-and-So Got Married" box that I can sleep in, but that, apparently, is not a popular wedding favor. Uncle Lucas and Auntie Rabyn had sugar sticks as their wedding favors; Dads lets me chew the wood when he's done melting the sugar in his coffee. Auntie Amanda and Uncle Eric had mini-boxes (the size of my paw) of pastils. I can't sleep in the box, though Dads makes the ribbon that was on the box dance around, and I chase that.

Moms and Dads next wedding attendance isn't scheduled until December, so maybe I can tell you stories more often. Purrs and Cuddles - JDamn!
