The only exception is products for my brother, Archibald. Archy is what is referred to as a "picky eater." By the time he has sniffed his food to see if it is worth his while, I have scarfed down my meal and am moving on to his. Mom recently saw some teevee show that said cats should eat more wet food because kibbles have too many carbs (I'm an Atkins Kat!). To entice Archy to eat wet food, Dad puts his favorite treats on the top of it. Archy always gets the full-priced Temptations brand treats. I get the cheapo whatever-was-on-sale treats. They are good. But not as good as Temptations. Temptations are tempting.
I figured out Dad's trick yesterday. Archy's dish and my dish didn't smell the same. One smelled much better than the other. Now I only want Archy's treats. If I eat all of Archy's treats, he won't want his food. Then I will get two dishes of wet food and Archy will have none. That way, I will remain a chubby, happy Buddha kat.
I hope that someday Dad will buy me full priced treats but, in the meantime, I'll just try to eat any kind of treat I can get my paws on.
P.S. That picture of the greatest treats ever is from the Temptations website. The cat looks suspiciously like Archy Cat. Honestly. How could anyone think that Archy is more tempting than me?
